What you'll be involved with

  • Engaging in cross-disciplinary projects that may extend beyond traditional software engineering
  • Developing and maintaining our microservice architecture and REST/API interfaces
  • Contributing to both front-end and back-end development of our applications
  • Occasional managment of databases for efficient data handling and retrieval
  • Maintenance of our automated high-throughput system featuring a SCARA robot, liquid handlers, incubators, and various lab instruments
  • Assisting in the development and maintenance of automated laboratory protocols, translating manual processes into automated high-throughput formats

Experience, Skills, Attributes

  • Recent graduate or 1-2 years of experience in software development
  • Proficient in Python and eager to learn full stack development
  • Basic understanding of database management and interest in learning about microservice architecture
  • Exposure to front-end and back-end development practices (familiarity with Vue, TypeScript, React, PHP, C++ is advantageous)
  • Willingness to learn REST/API interfaces and their implementation
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to new technologies
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Proficiency in English for daily communication
  • Openness to learning and enthusiasm for innovative ideas
